Ferro Manganese
Ferro manganese (FeMn) is an alloy of manganese and iron used as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and alloying element in steelmaking. It increases steel's hardness, strength, and wear resistance.
Applications
- Deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steel and cast iron
- Alloying agent to improve mechanical properties
- Production of special manganese steels (Hadfield steel)
- Battery and chemical industry applications
